Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation, Worthing Chess Club is not meeting until further notice. Our online schedule has also finished for the time being.

Updates regarding the new season starting with the AGM will be posted here in due course.
We are a friendly chess club with a growing membership, we welcome players of all ages and strengths.
Our membership ranges from the enthusiastic novice up to county strength players with grades ranging from 40 to 200. We also have a small, but growing, number of juniors.
From September to June we hold club nights every Monday at The Tarring Club (see map below) from 7:20pm for friendly games, club competitions and league matches.
Worthing field four teams in the Mid Sussex League - three in Division 1; and one in Division 3.
We also run several internal club tournaments which are open to all paid-up members.
